About Us

PROTOTYPE

WAstats... providing easy access to government data

A group of state and local government agencies and associations, known as the Statewide Information Coordination Consortium (SWICC), developed this website to further their vision of:

"State and local governments bringing together
information necessary to make decisions
and demonstrate governmental accountability."

The goals of SWICC are to:

Improve ability to respond to emerging information needs
Improve data consistency and timeliness
Demonstrate governmental accountability
Enhance understanding of government spending and services
Increase efficiencies by reducing duplication in data collection and reporting method.
